The United States earned three medals to close Skate Canada International on Saturday night in Vancouver. The event was the second stop of the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series. Nathan Chen won the men’s event while Jason Brown picked up the silver medal. Ashley Cain-Gribble and Timothy LeDuc earned the bronze medal in the pairs event.

Nathan Chen and Jason Brown lead the way for Team USA after the first day of Skate Canada International in Vancouver, taking the top two spots in the men’s event. The competition kicked off on Friday afternoon and will conclude on Saturday, Oct. 30.

Eleven Team USA athletes are headed to Skate Canada International in Vancouver, the second stop of the International Skating Union (ISU) Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series. Competition starts on Friday, Oct. 29, with the short programs and rhythm dance. The event will conclude with the free skates and free dance on Saturday, Oct. 30.

Vincent Zhou leads the men’s field after the first day of 2021 Guaranteed Rate Skate America. Jessica Calalang and Brian Johnson are in fourth after the pairs short program. 

Eighteen U.S. athletes will compete at 2021 Guaranteed Rate Skate America, the first event of the 2021 International Skating Union (ISU) Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series, Oct. 22-24, at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.
