The Collegiate Championship Award Program emanates from the Pioneer Fund and is given out annually based on the results at the U.S. Collegiate Championships. This award program was developed to assist the winners with a one-time monetary scholarship award. The awards are distributed following the winners’ successful completion of their full-time, fall term/semester.
For the 2021 event, the Collegiate Championship Award Program will distribute scholarships based on entries at the close of registration in the total amount of $34,000. This is a one-time opportunity due to unused funds from the 2020 event that was canceled due to the pandemic. After the close of entries, the scholarship allocations listed below were determined based on level of competition and size of the competitive field.
NOTE: In order to receive scholarship funds, skaters must: 1) complete and place within one of the scholarship allocated positions and 2) provide proof of either a completed full-time student coarse load for the upcoming 2021 fall semester OR graduation between March 2020 and August 2021.
