The 2022 U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships continued today at the Broadmoor World Arena in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Team Image won their first-ever junior title, Teams Elite won the title in the intermediate competition and the Haydenettes lead after the senior short program.
Competition at the 2022 U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships wrapped up in Colorado Springs, Colorado, with the announcement of the selections to the 2022 U.S. World Synchronized Skating Team.
The Haydenettes captured their 29th U.S. title to close the final day of competition at the 2022 U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships in Colorado Springs Colorado. Additionally, Miami University won their 20th collegiate title, DC EDGE took the top spot in the adult competition and Teams Elite won gold in juvenile at the Broadmoor World Arena.
The 2022 U.S. adult qualifying season begins March 10-13 with the Eastern, Midwestern and Pacific Coast Adult Sectional Championships.
Over 40 years ago, a group of women started to gather for lunch after their adult ice dance lessons at their local Highland Park ice rink. The group based out of the Chicago suburb was made up of beginner and lifelong skaters alike. They took their post-skating lunches to the fast-food restaurant Wendy’s and began referring to themselves as the “Wendy’s Lunch Bunch.”

The 2022 Pacific Coast Adult Sectional Figure Skating Championships consist of the following qualifying championship events: championship masters junior-senior free skate, championship masters intermediate-novice free skate, championship adult gold free skate, championship adult silver free skate, championship masters pairs, and championship adult partnered dance.
All other events are offered as a part of the 2022 Pacific Coast Adult Sectional Championships and are considered nonqualifying and offered at the discretion of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC). Competitors will register through EMS for these nonqualifying events.
