U.S. FIGURE SKATING AND NBC SPORTS GROUP LAUNCH 'FIGURE SKATING PASS' ON NBC SPORTS GOLD

U.S. Figure Skating and NBC Sports Group announced today the launch of a “Figure Skating Pass” on NBC Sports Gold, NBC Sports Digital’s direct-to-consumer live streaming product, giving fans access to live and on-demand domestic and international figure skating competition beginning with the 2018-19 season.

National Development Team

The National Development Team consists of singles, pairs and ice dance athletes who qualified and attended the National Development Camp.

Testing

The test structure is one of the most important and rewarding parts of figure skating. All U.S. Figure Skating members from recreational and competitive skaters can participate.

Competing

Any U.S. Figure Skating member in good standing may compete in U.S. Figure Skating sanctioned competitions.

Compete USA

Grassroots level competition to provide fun, introductory competitive experience for participants.

Nonqualifying Competitions

U.S. Figure Skating offers member clubs the opportunity to host nonqualifying competitions that can include any standard or fun event.

Qualifying Competitions

There are four types of qualifying pipelines that lead to U.S. Championship events in singles, pairs, ice dance, synchronized, collegiate and adults.

Training

U.S. Figure Skating helps athletes train to the best of their abilities with athletic assessments, camps and health and wellness programs
