The 2019 U.S. Championships will be held Jan. 19-27, 2019 in Detroit, Michigan. All junior and championship level events will be held at the newly opened Little Caesars Arena and all novice, intermediate and juvenile events will take place at the Detroit Skating Club in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.
2014 Olympic champions and six-time U.S. champions Meryl Davis and Charlie White have also been named as honorary Alumni Co-Chairs for the competition. The U.S. Championships were last held in Detroit in 1994.
U.S. champions will be crowned in ladies, men’s, pairs and ice dance at the senior, junior, novice, intermediate and juvenile levels of the U.S. Figure Skating competitive structure. The U.S. Championships, which serve as the final qualifying event to make the U.S. World Figure Skating Team every year and the U.S. Olympic Team every four years, annually attracts more than 1,700 athletes, coaches, officials and media to the host community and is estimated to generate more than $18 million in local economic impact.
All-session tickets, starting at $475, will be available at www.2019uschampionships.com, 313Presents.com and the Little Caesars Arena XFINITY box office. All-session tickets will include admission to all practice and competitive sessions at both venues as well as the Skating Spectacular on Sunday, Jan. 27.
Championship weekend and single-session tickets will go on sale at a later date.
U.S. Figure Skating and Little Caesars Arena will announce a U.S. Figure Skating member club incentive program this summer. U.S. Figure Skating clubs will have the opportunity to purchase ticket packages to the championships and earn incentives. Additional details will be announced once available.
