Inaugural Excel National Festival Held in Florida

The inaugural 2019 Excel National Festival was held in Coral Springs, Florida, on June 7-9, 2019. Hosted by the Florida Interclub Council, the event was the culmination of the 2019 Excel Series.
The festival featured 367 athletes from the Eastern, Midwestern and Pacific Coast sections. Skaters competed in Compute USA events from Snowplow Sam through Free Skate 6, and in Excel events from beginner through senior.
Additionally, skaters had the opportunity to participate in an off-ice Festival Experience, including off-ice movement classes, team building activities and a meet-and-greet with Team USA skaters.
In this first year of the Excel Series, skaters qualified to compete at the Excel levels at the National Festival by participating in other competitions within the series. The 2019 Excel Series, which began in March and concluded in May, featured more than 700 competitors across the country.

What is the National Festival?

The National Festival is made up of three parts:

3. An open invitation Compete USA competition for any Learn to Skate USA member.

The inaugural National Festival will be held June 7 - 9, 2019, at the Panthers Ice Den in Coral Springs, Florida, and will an include an Excel Series Finalist camp, off-ice team building, and social activities for all participants.
