Everything You Need to Know | Challenger Series Lombardia Trophy

Eight members of the U.S National Team will compete this weekend at  the Lombardia Trophy in Italy. For many of the athletes, it's their first taste of competition this Olympic season.

Some of the sport’s biggest names compete this weekend at Lombardia Trophy, the fourth Challenger Series event of the season.

Eight U.S. athletes, including World champions Ilia Malinin and Alysa Liu, kick off their competitive seasons at IceLab Arena.

The Challenger Series is a group of senior-level international competitions that allows athletes to earn points and prepare for Grand Prix and ISU Championship competitions. The series includes 11 stops this season with U.S. athletes currently slated to compete at all 11 events.
