U.S. Figure Skating announced the Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022 Team Event participant for the men's free skate on Sunday morning. The Team Event is set for Feb. 4-7, at Capital Indoor Stadium in Beijing.
Vincent Zhou will compete in the men's free skate, substituting for Nathan Chen. Zhou is a 2018 Olympian and 2019 World bronze medalist.
The men's free skate will take place Sunday, Feb. 6, at 11:50 a.m. (Saturday, Feb. 5 at 10:50 p.m. ET). After the short programs and rhythm dance, the United States is in second place with 34 points. The Russian Olympic Committee leads with 36 points and Japan sits in third with 29 points.
