U.S. Figure Skating Announces Host City for 2020 National Theatre On Ice

U.S. Figure Skating announced today the locations for the 2020 National Theatre On Ice competition.

The Wichita Figure Skating Club, in conjunction with Visit Wichita, will host the 2020 National Theatre On Ice competition, held June 26-30, 2020 , at the INTRUST Bank Arena in Wichita, Kansas. This is Wichita’s first time hosting the event; they previously hosted the 2018 Midwestern and Pacific Synchronized Skating Sectional Championships and will host the same event again in 2020.

Theatre On Ice (TOI) is a form of competitive figure skating that combines the grace of figure skating with the excitement of theater and dance. Teams consist of between eight and 24 skaters. The programs are judged by U.S. Figure Skating judges and are evaluated on technical merit and presentation with emphasis on originality, costuming, artistry and musicality.
