At Leon Lurje in Gothenburg, Sweden, the United States earned three medals. The Haydenettes took the title, winning both the short program and the free skate to earn 197.13 points. Last week, the Haydenettes won bronze at Neuchatel Trophy. Miami University took home the bronze medal in Sweden, scoring 156.84 points through two days of competition.
In the junior division, Lexettes, which scored 158.29 overall points, earned the silver medal after finishing second in both segments. Chicago Jazz finished fifth overall with 127.33 points.
At Mozart Cup in Salzburg, Austria, the United States tallied another international medal.
Skyliners earned their second international medal of the season, taking home the silver medal with 179.92 overall points.
Adrian College Varsity finished just off the podium in fourth place, scoring 168.78 total points. In the junior competition, Fond du Lac Blades finished fifth overall with 115.60 points.
