Team USA will send four synchronized skating teams to Milan to compete in the 2019 Spring Cup. The event is set for Feb. 15-17, 2019, and marks the final international event this season before the ISU World and World Junior Synchronized Skating Championships.
The U.S. will send two senior teams to compete in Italy. The Crystallettes will make their second consecutive appearance since winning the silver medal at Trophy D’Ecosse. The team is making their first Spring Cup appearance since finishing seventh in 2002. Adrian College is also skating in their second competition of the season. The Michigan-based team finished seventh at French Cup earlier this month.
In the junior division, two U.S. teams will make their international season debut at Spring Cup. The Chicago Jazz will return to Milan for the first time since winning the junior title in 2016. The junior team has medaled in three of their four appearances at the event since 2004. Teams Elite will make their international debut in Milan. The team was selected for their first international assignment after winning the pewter medal in the novice division at the 2018 U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships.
