Team USA Opens International Synchronized Skating Season at Mozart Cup

Four teams will represent the United States at the 2019 Mozart Cup in Salzburg, Austria, Jan. 17-20. The event marks the opening of Team USA’s international season.

In the senior division, the 26-time and reigning U.S. champion Haydenettes will make their international season debut. This is the first time the Haydenettes have competed in this event since they won bronze in 2011. The Skyliners will also be taking international ice for the first time this year. The 2018 U.S. silver medalists captured the silver medal in Salzburg last year.

The two-time reigning U.S. junior champions Skyliners junior team will represent the U.S. in the junior competition in Salzburg. They will be joined by the Michigan-based Hockettes. Both teams are making their international debuts for the season.
