The reigning U.S. junior champions placed second in both the short program and free dance in their international season debut, earning a total score of 181.41 points. The team received all positive Grades of Execution in both programs. The Hockettes also made their international debut for the season in Salzburg, finishing sixth with a total score of 137.40.
In the senior competition, the Haydenettes lead the U.S. contingent, finishing fifth with 208.63 total points. The 26-time and reigning U.S. champions finished fifth in the short program, but placed third in the free skate, earning 135.56 points for their performance. The Skyliners finished just behind the Haydenettes in sixth place, scoring 194.23 total points. The team maintained their sixth-place position through two days of competition.

The Skyliners Junior kicked off the international synchronized skating season with a podium finish, winning the silver medal in the junior competition at Mozart Cup in Salzburg, Austria.
