Team USA was represented by three teams at the 2019 French Cup in Rouen, France, held Feb. 2-3. The Skyliners Juniorand Lexettescompeted in the junior competition, and Adrian Collegecompeted in the senior competition.
In their second international competition of the season, Skyliners Junior had a successful showing, finishing second place overall with 187.35 total points. They also earned second at the competition last year. The reigning U.S. junior champions have medaled at every international event this season, also picking up the silver medal at Mozart Cup in January.
The Lexettes also competed at the junior level, finishing fifth with 159.89 overall points. The competition marked their second international assignment of the season since finishing fifth at Leon Lurje Trophy last month.
In the senior competition, Adrian College earned a combined score of 160.99 points to finish seventh overall in their first international competition of the season. The team will travel to Milan, Italy for the Spring Cup on Feb. 15-17.
The international synchronized skating season continues next week with Zagreb Snowflakes Trophy in Zagreb, Croatia, and Trophy D’Ecosse in Dumbfries, Scotland.
