Skating in his first career Grand Prix event, Krasnozhon earned 136.98 points in Sunday’s free skate to total 211.03 points through two days of competition. He skated a clean program and all but one of his elements received positive Grades of Execution.
The ice dance duo of Lorraine McNamara and Quinn Carpenter took home the bronze medal in the ice dance competition on Saturday.
The ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series will continue next week in Hiroshima, Japan with NHK Trophy. The United States will send a contingent of 15 skaters, including 2018 U.S. Olympic Team member Vincent Zhou and 2018 Olympic bronze medalists Alexa Scimeca-Knierim and Chris Knierim.
