Team USA will send four teams to Rouen, France, to compete at French Cup 2020. The event is scheduled for Jan. 31 – Feb. 1 and is the third event in the debut season of the Challenger Series Synchronized Skating.

The Haydenettes will headline the senior competition for the United States. This is their third international showing and second Challenger Series event of the season. The 2019 U.S. champions earned the silver medal at California Cup in November and topped the podium at Britannia Cup earlier this month. They last competed at the French Cup in 2015 where they finished sixth. Miami University joins the Haydenettes in the senior division, making back-to-back international appearances. The Red Hawks squad finished seventh at Leon Lurje Trophy 2020 last week. They return to France for the first time since placing ninth in 2017.

The U.S. will also send two teams to France in the junior division. The Skyliners will look to earn their eighth consecutive international medal, two of which were silver medals at the French Cup in 2018 and 2019. Earlier this year, the 2019 World Junior bronze medalists won the silver medal at California Cup and gold at Britannia Cup. Teams Elite will make their first of two international stops at the event in Rouen. Last season, the Illinois-based captured the gold medal in their international debut at Spring Cup.
