(1/18/20) - All four American teams medaled at Zagreb Snowflakes Trophy 2020 in Zagreb, Croatia, highlighted by the Skyliners taking the top spot in the senior competition.
The Skyliners won both segments, earning the gold medal with a total score of 210.89. It's the first international medal of the season for the New York-based team and improves upon their second-place finish in 2019.
Adrian College took home the silver medal with 184.24 points after finishing second place in both the short program and free skate. Adrian, competing in its second straight week of competition, also earned the silver medal last week at Britannia Cup in Nottingham, England.
The American's success continued in the junior competition. The Lexettes earned the silver medal in their international season debut with a total score of 172.14. Sitting third after the short program, the Massachusetts-based squad jumped American counterparts Team Image in the free skate to finish second.
Team Image, making their program's international debut, finished third overall with 162.00 points.
