Competition Concludes at the Leon Lurje Trophy 2020

Four American teams took the ice at the Leon Lurje Trophy 2020 this week in Gothenberg, Sweden, the second stop of the Challenger Series Synchronized Skating.

In the senior competition, the Miami University senior team remained in seventh place after making their international season debut, finishing with a total of 186.98 points overall. The Crystallettes ended in eighth with a total of 180.77 points. The Michigan-based team remained in eighth after debuting both their short program (64.16) and free skate (116.61).

Among the junior competition, the Starlights secured fourth place with a total of 172.47 points. They finished sixth in the free skate with 108.54 points. The Fond du Lac Blades made their international season debut in Sweden and ended with a total of 155.51 points to sit in seventh place overall. The Wisconsin-based team earned 95.79 points for their free skate.

The international synchronized skating season continues with the French Cup 2020 on Jan. 31 - Feb. 2 in Rouen, France.
