U.S. Figure Skating announced today that Starr Andrews will compete at Internationaux de France and Megan Wessenberg will skate for Team USA at NHK Trophy.
Andrews made her Grand Prix debut at 2018 Skate America and also competed at 2018 Skate Canada International. The Los Angeles-based skater finished eighth at 2019 U.S. Championships. She will compete in Grenoble, France, Nov. 1-3. Additionally, she is slated to compete at 2019 NHK Trophy.
Wessenberg also made her Grand Prix debut at 2018 Skate America, where she finished sixth. Based outside of Boston, the 21-year-old finished sixth at 2019 U.S. Championships. She will travel to Sapporo, Japan, Nov. 22-24 for the final Grand Prix Series event.
Both Andrews and Wessenberg competed at 2019 Finlandia Trophy this past weekend where they finished fifth and eighth, respectively.
The 2019 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series will begin this week with 2019 Skate America presented by American Cruise Lines on Oct. 18-20 in Las Vegas. Tickets are available at www.2019SkateAmerica.com.
