AMERICAN PAIRS TEAMS ADDED TO GRAND PRIX EVENTS IN FINLAND, JAPAN

U.S. Figure Skating announced additions to its teams at the 2018 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series events in Finland and Japan.

Deanna Stellato and Nathan Bartholomay have been added to the Grand Prix of Figure Skating in Finland. The event is set for Nov. 2-4 in Helsinki. Additionally, Audrey Lu and Misha Mitrofanov will skate at 2018 NHK Trophy Nov. 9-11 in Hiroshima, Japan.

Stellato and Bartholomay won a bronze medal at the 2018 U.S. Championships. They were 8th at last year’s Skate America. They will also compete at Rostelecom Cup later in November.

Lu and Mitrofanov will be making their senior Grand Prix Series debut. The pair won the U.S. junior title in 2018 and took fifth at the World Junior Championships.

The 2018 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series will begin with 2018 Skate America on Oct. 19-21 in Everett, Washington. Tickets are available at www.2018SkateAmerica.com.
