The 2022 U.S. adult qualifying season begins March 10-13 with the Eastern, Midwestern and Pacific Coast Adult Sectional Championships. Championship events include championship masters junior-senior free skate, championship masters intermediate-novice free skate, championship adult gold free skate, championship adult silver free skate, championship masters pairs and championship adult dance. Entries this season include 243 championship event starts registered across all three adult sectional championships.
The top four finishers from each championship event will qualify for the 2022 U.S. Adult Championships, set for April 6-9 in Newark, Delaware. The very first U.S. Adult Championships in 1995 were also held in Delaware, so the location holds a sentimental place in adult skating history. In addition to the marquee championship events, open events in free skate, pairs, solo dance, partnered dance and showcase from the bronze through masters levels will be contested, as athletes converge from across the nation to compete.
Results will be available on U.S. Figure Skating Fan Zone. Video from all events will be available on-demand on Fan Zone after the conclusion of the events.
