Jason Brown, Kaitlin Hawayek, Danny O’Shea and Vincent Zhou are this year’s recipients of World Team College scholarships.
The World Team College Scholarship Program was created in 2016 to aid World Team members competing from 2010 until the present.
Eligible current and former World Team members must display financial need for a college education and have contributed to U.S. Figure Skating or community organizations.
This year’s awardees are all current athletes pursuing degrees in higher education while competing at the highest level of figure skating.
Brown and O’Shea are students at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs; Hawayek is a student at Penn State; while Zhou is at Brown University.
