Nearly 900 skaters are gearing up to participate in the 2025 Excel National Final and Festival, which will take place at the Broadmoor World Arena in Colorado Springs, Colorado, July 9-13.
The Excel National Final and Festival is comprised of two components: the Excel Series Final and the Open-Invitation Excel Series Competition.
The Excel Series Final is an invite-only event that brings together the top performers from the Excel Series at the senior, junior, novice, intermediate plus, intermediate, juvenile plus, juvenile, pre-juvenile plus and preliminary plus levels. The experience allows skaters to demonstrate their strengths while continuing to develop their skills in a competitive environment.
In addition to medals, presentation awards will be given to the competitors who earn the highest presentation score at each qualifying level of the Excel National Final. Additionally, The Founders Trophy will be awarded to one male and one female skater who demonstrate the judging panel’s favorite presentation.
Also as part of the Final, the Finalist Camp gives competitors the opportunity to take part in on- and off-ice training sessions, led by former and current Team USA athletes, including Gracie Gold, Polina Edmunds, Ashley Cain, Sean Rabbit, and Olivia Flores and Luke Wang.
Skaters at the Aspire 1-4, pre-preliminary and preliminary levels will be able to skate in the Open-Invitation Excel Series competition. This part of the event allows skaters to build confidence and gain valuable experience by performing in a competitive setting.
