The list of designated Excel Series competitions and the skater registration form are now available in the resources box!
Skaters must register for the Excel Series by March 1, 2020, or prior to their first Series competition, whichever is first.
The location for the 2020 Excel National Festival will be announced Nov. 4, 2019. The deadline to submit a bid is Oct. 31. The 2020 Excel National Festival is currently planned for the dates of June 19-21, 2020.
The Free Skate Requirements Chart has been updated for the 2019-20 season. This chart is effective Sept. 1, 2019.
While the updated 2019-20 Excel Free Skate Chart becomes effective Sept. 1, 2019, please note that Fall 2019 competitions may have been sanctioned prior to release of the chart. If the 2018-19 Excel Free Skate Chart is referenced in the competition announcement, that is the chart that will be followed for that competition.

What is the National Festival?
Held annually in late June, he National Festival is made up of three parts:
1. An invitation-only Series Final for skaters in the Excel Series at the Preliminary Plus, Pre-Juvenile Plus, Juvenile Plus, Intermediate Plus, Novice, Junior and Senior levels;
2. An open invitation Series Final for skaters in the Excel Series at the Beginner, High Beginner, Pre-Preliminary, Preliminary, Pre-Juvenile, Juvenile and Intermediate levels;
3. An open invitation Compete USA competition for any Learn to Skate USA member.
At the Excel levels, skaters must be registered for and compete in the Excel Series. Requirements are outlined in the Excel Series Handbook in the Resources Box. The Compete USA portion of the National Festival is open to any Learn to Skate USA member.
