Seven U.S. Athletes to Compete at 2016 Trophee de France

(11/9/16) - Seven American athletes will compete this weekend at 2016 Trophée de France, the fourth event of the 2016 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series.

Competition from Paris will take place over two days with the short programs/dance on Friday and the free skates/dance Saturday. Icenetwork will stream the competition live to Season Pass subscribers. NBC will broadcast Trophée de France coverage from 5-6 p.m. ET on Nov. 26, while UniHD and NBCSN will air coverage throughout the event. The complete broadcast schedule is below.

Ladies
Gracie Gold will look for her seventh career Grand Prix Series medal. She most recently placed fifth at 2016 Progressive Skate America.

Men
Adam Rippon will skate for his second medal of the Grand Prix season after winning bronze at Skate America last month. He is joined by U.S. bronze medalist Nathan Chen, who will make his Grand Prix Series debut.

Pairs
Marissa Castelli and Mervin Tran will compete in their second Grand Prix event of the season. The U.S. bronze medalists placed seventh at Skate America.

Ice dance
Madison Hubbell and Zachary Donohue will skate to qualify for their second-straight trip to the Grand Prix Final after earning silver at Skate America.

The Grand Prix Series, now in its 22nd season, consists of six international events in a cumulative point-scoring format. Approximately 300 athletes from 30 countries are expected to participate in the series. Each athlete is eligible to score points in up to two of the six scheduled events. The top six point-earners in each discipline qualify for the 2016 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final, set for Dec. 8-11, in Marseille, France.
