Team USA will have three junior synchronized skating teams competing at the Mozart Cup 2022 in Salzburg, Austria, Jan. 28-30.

Representing Team USA and competing for the first time this season are Fond du Lac Blades, the Hockettes and Skyliners junior.

Skyliners junior, which has won two World Junior medals in the last four years, is the four-time reigning U.S. junior champion dating back to 2017 (the 2021 U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships were canceled). They have competed at the Mozart Cup twice, clinching the silver in 2019.

The Hockettes also competed at the 2019 Mozart Cup – their last time taking the ice internationally – placing sixth. The squad also are two-time U.S. junior champions.

Joining Skyliners junior and the Hockettes in Austria will be Fond du Lac Blades. The 2019 U.S. junior pewter medalists took bronze at the Zagreb Snowflakes Trophy the same year.
