With a focus on the health and well-being of our athletes and all participants, U.S. Figure Skating has taken action involving its national programs and events through April 19, 2020.

Those impacted by cancelations will be directly contacted in the coming days regarding ticket, entry fee or practice ice refunds. We encourage you to communicate directly with airlines and hotels for individual cancelation policies.

National Technical Panel Seminar
Date: March 26-29, 2020
Location: Phoenix
Status: Canceled
Reason: Decision of the leadership of Officials Training and Domestic Officials Recruitment & Management Committees due to concerns about the risk of travel and mass gatherings.

2020 National Intercollegiate Final
Date: March 27-29, 2020
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Status: Canceled
Reason: University of Minnesota closed its campus due to the coronavirus pandemic. The majority of 16 competing schools have travel prohibitions.

ISU World Synchronized Skating Championships 2020
Date: April 3-4, 2020
Location: Lake Placid, New York
Status: Canceled
Reason: The ISU canceled the competition after New York’s restrictions on gatherings and the U.S. travel ban affecting 26 European nations.

2020 U.S. Adult Figure Skating Championships
Date: April 14-18
Location: Newark, Delaware
Status: Canceled
Reason: With confirmed positive cases on its campus, the University of Delaware Athletic Department closed the Fred Rust and Gold Arena. Also, Delaware declared a state of emergency due to the coronavirus pandemic.

2020 Athlete Acceleration Summit

Reason: U.S. Figure Skating leadership felt it was in the participants’ best interest to cancel the event due to the coronavirus pandemic.

National High School Final

Location: Adrian, Michigan

Reason: Adrian College has suspended in-person classes at this time; Michigan’s Department of Health and Human Services has recommended colleges and universities cancel sporting events.

Jump On It! Camp
Date: May 7-9, 2020
Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado
Status: Canceled
Reason: U.S. Figure Skating leadership felt it was in the participants’ best interest to cancel the event due to the coronavirus pandemic.
