U.S. Figure Skating Announces Sites for 2019 U.S. Qualifying Season

(11/9/17) - U.S. Figure Skating today announced the host cities for the 2019 regional and sectional championships and synchronized sectional championships.

The top four skaters in the ladies and men’s events at each of the nine regional championships will qualify for one of three sectional championships. The top four finishers at each level in each discipline at the sectional championships will earn a berth to the 2019 U.S. Figure Skating Championships in Detroit. The sectional championships are the only qualifying phase for pairs and ice dance.

The top four finishers at the synchronized sectional championships will earn a berth to the 2018 U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships, the location and dates for which were announced earlier this year.
