2004-05 Team Envelopes

Dance Committee
The following notable actions were taken:
APPROVED to amend TR 49.00 to adjust the passing averages for adult and masters dance tests. The new passing averages are available in the Dance Committee ROA.

Synchronized Team Skating Committee
The following notable actions were taken:
APPROVED to delete CR 52.02 (D) - Collegiate teams may progress directly to the U.S. Synchronized Championships. (This was amended to begin in the 2005-06 season. Thus, collegiate teams will advance directly to the U.S. Championships in the 2004-05 season but must compete in sectionals beginning with the 2005-06 season).

Ethics Committee, Coaches Committee, Greivance Committee (Joint Request)
APPROVED to add a new rule to the Competitions Committee rules as follows: CR 8.70 COACHES
CR 8.71 Any coach being credentialed for a U.S. Figure Skating qualifying competition is required to be a member of both U.S. Figure Skating and the Professional Skaters Association (PSA).

New Business
The following new business item was APPROVED:
CR 72.02 (F) MOVE to delete item (F) from CR 72.02:
F. At no time will a competitor who placed lower than sixth place at a regional championship be invited to compete at the U.S. Junior Championships.

Election of Officers
The slate of candidates was accepted by the Governing Council as presented.

The six athlete representatives that have been elected by the athletes to serve on the Board of Directors are:
Chair of the Athletes Advisory Committee and member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors: Danielle Hartsell-Minnis
Member of the Executive Committee and board: Brittany McConn Bottoms
Eastern athlete member of the board: Morgan Rowe
Midwest athlete member of the board: Sara Jack
