Bulanhagui, Chock & Zuerlein Lead after Day One at JGP Italy
(9/4/08) - Melissa Bulanhagui and the ice dancing team of Madison Chock and Greg Zuerlein are leading their respective competitions after day one at the Junior Grand Prix event in Merano, Italy. Bulanhagui is two points ahead of Japan's Rumi Suizu heading into tomorrow's free skate while Chock and Zuerlein hold an almost three-point lead over Russians Ekaterina Riazanova and Jonathan Guerreiro after the original dance.

(9/2/08) - The Michael Weiss Foundation (MWF) is bringing a stellar cast to the Kettler Capitals Iceplex in Arlington, Va., on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2008, for the fourth annual "U.S. & World Figure Skating Champions LIVE!". Proceeds from ticket sales, donations and silent auction support young Olympic hopefuls through scholarships provided by the MWF. Read more...

(8/30/08) - U.S. figure skaters collected four medals at this week's Junior Grand Prix Series event in Courchevel, France, including gold by Kristine Musademba and ice dancers Maia Shibutani and Alex Shibutani. Becky Bereswill took the silver in the ladies competition as did Armin Mahbanoozadeh in the men's event.

(8/27/08) - The kickoff event for the 2008 International Skating Union (ISU) Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating (JGP) Series takes place Aug. 28-30 in Courchevel, France. Eight athletes will represent the United States at the event in three disciplines: ladies, men's and ice dancing. Read more...

(8/27/08) - U.S. Figure Skating announced today that icenetwork.com, a joint partnership between U.S. Figure Skating and MLB Advanced Media, has secured the exclusive U.S. broadband rights for the 2008-09 International Skating Union (ISU) Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series as well as several other ISU events.
