**New (8/02)** Opening PDF documents directly from Web pages in the Windows OS can sometimes cause your computer to stop responding or "freeze." To avoid this:

1. Save the file to your computer by right-clicking directly on the link and selecting the option "Save Target As" or "Save Link As" from the pop-up menu that appears.
2. Then go to the saved file and double-click it. That will launch the Acrobat software and open the file.
