U.S. Figure Skating Announces Pairs Teams Nominated to 2010 U.S. Olympic Figure Skating Team

World, World Junior, Four Continents teams also named

(1/16/10) - U.S. Figure Skating announced today the nomination of pairs teams Caydee Denney & Jeremy Barrett, and Amanda Evora & Mark Ladwig to the 2010 U.S. Olympic Figure Skating Team, pending United States Olympic Committee (USOC) approval. Denney and Barrett, and Evora and Ladwig finished first and second, respectively, at the 2010 AT&T U.S. Figure Skating Championships in Spokane, Wash.

The alternates nominated to the team are Rena Inoue & John Baldwin (Alternate No. 1), Keauna McLaughlin & Rockne Brubaker (Alternate No. 2), and Brooke Castile & Ben Okolski (Alternate No. 3).

Also announced were the pairs teams that will represent the United States at the 2010 World Figure Skating Championships March 22-28 in Torino, Italy, and the 2010 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships Jan. 25-31 in Jeonju City, Republic of Korea, and the World Junior Figure Skating Championships March 8-14 in The Hague, Netherlands
