Alissa Czisny Added to Roster for 2004 Marshalls World Cup

(12/1/04) — U.S. Figure Skating President Chuck Foster and Executive Director Val Belmonte announced today the addition of Alissa Czisny to the 2004 Marshalls World Cup of Figure Skating in Auburn Hills, Mich., on Friday, Dec. 3. Czisny was added to the event after recent addition Yoshie Onda of Japan withdrew due to injury.

Czisny, the 2004 U.S. Collegiate figure skating champion, recently competed in her first ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating event, 2004 Smart Ones Skate America, where she placed just out of medal contention in fourth. She qualified for the 2005 State Farm U.S. Championships by placing second at the 2005 Midwestern Sectional Championships.

The Marshalls World Cup will take place at the Palace of Auburn Hills on Dec. 3 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased at www.palacenet.com, the Palace Box Office and all Ticketmaster centers. Tickets may also be charged by phone to American Express, Visa, MasterCard and Discover by calling 248.645.6666. Reserved seats will be priced at $55 and $25 and general admission tickets are $15.
