Skaters/Coaches and the International Judging System

Staying informed of new rule changes and program information that could affect your performance is imperative. The Rules/Clarifications/Elements area is your key to understanding new rule changes that might affect your future performances.

Some nonqualifying competitions will have their competitions listed in the menu of competitions on the Members Only site for the Planned Program Content. Other competitions may use the downloadable paper form (click here to download the form). For nonqualifying competitions, follow the instructions in the announcement.

Program Components - Level Explanation Guidelines
This new U.S. communication guideline tool is for judges to assist skaters' and coaches' understanding of program component scores by explaining the normal range of scores expected to be assigned to a skater based on skating ability, percentage of time executing each component and competition level. This does not replace the ISU Program Components Overview chart and should be used in conjunction with the ISU chart.
