Began skating in the U.S. Figure Skating Basic Skills Program at age 5 because her sister started at the same time ... Supports the Jimmy Fund, Make a Wish Foundation, The Brain Tumor Foundation - her dad has been battling a brain tumor - and Relay for Life ... Her and a few other skaters participated in the Relay for Life's 14 mile walk this year ... On the Junior Activities Committee at the SC of Boston ... Sister, Lauren, 21, is a former figure skater ... Also has a younger brother, Carmen, 14, who plays soccer ... Hobbies include singing, playing tennis and soccer with her brother ... Favorite foreign country to travel to is Japan because everyone is so friendly and welcoming ... Has a passion for acting and would like to pursue acting after her skating career ... Listens to all kinds of music, including Dashboard Confessional, Amy Winehouse, Prince and Taylor Swift ... Played Zoe Bloch in the Disney movie "Ice Princess," which starred Joan Cusack and Kim Cattrall ... Would like to be an actress or a coach/choreographer like her coach, Mark Mitchell ...
